The Meditation Room
The Studio
Barre
Barre is a full body, low impact, rhythm based conditioning class using light weights and a ballet barre. It includes elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. The class will consist of a sprint and recovery format. Focused sprints are followed by stretches to build strong muscles that are also healthy and flexible. For this class, wear grippy socks or come barefoot.
Express Dressed Yoga
The movements of this class are designed to be performed in your work clothes. So come as you are, and give yourself a midday reset through coordinated moves and breath. Class will include gentle movements, stretching, and an opportunity to reset for the rest of your day.
Intention Setting Slow Flow Yoga
During this intention setting practice, you’ll choose a word or phrase to align with for the day. You’ll explore a series of poses in a flowing sequence. You’ll connect your breath and movement while listening to your body and being guided by what is best for you in the moment.
Lunchtime Dance Break
Dance and music are energizers and mood boosters! During the dance break, you’ll learn fun, easy to follow dances. This is a time to move, laugh, and connect. No prior dance experience is necessary. Raise your vibration and keep it going throughout your day!
Lunchtime Meditation Reset
Set aside time during your work day to prioritize your wellbeing. Join this 15 minute guided meditation practice where you’ll cultivate mindful awareness by bringing the focus of the mind to the internal experience.
Midday Mindfulness Meditation
Join this midday session to reset and head into the rest of your day feeling restored. This is an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, connect with the breath, and develop a practice of using your inner resources as tools to support and elevate your health and wellbeing.
Pilates Boost
Boost your mood and energy in this uplifting class. You’ll move through a series of exercises focused on core stability with the intention of experiencing joy through movement. Benefits also include core strengthening, increased flexibility, and enhanced posture and balance. Props will be used in class.
Pilates Remix
Pilates Remix is a core focused conditioning class. This is a twist on a classic Joseph Pilates mat class with a little more cardio and light weights for added toning. The benefits include strengthening the core, improving flexibility, and enhancing posture and balance. Props will be used in class.
Power Yoga
You’ve got the power! In this class you will move and breathe mindfully while building strength and increasing flexibility through a series of poses. Energized and balanced flows will incorporate strengthening, balancing, and stretching. You’ll connect with your body, mind, and spirit in this elevating class.
Slow Flow Yoga
New Yorkers are people on the go, multi-tasking and quickly moving from one activity to the next. This is great for making things happen, and it can also increase stress levels. In this slow flow Vinyasa yoga class, you’ll move through a series of poses and stretches. Give your mind and body the chance to slow down and create space for healing, restoring, and connecting.
